The newly reopened Georgetown library is in a beautiful old building perched atop Book Hill Park, with views over the neighborhood and across the river to Arlington.
Georgetown is not D.C.'s destination for independent neighborhood coffee shopsâit is saturated with Starbucks, which offer free WiFi. Barnes & Noble 3040 M St and Baked & Wired also offer free WiFi.
If you don't have a laptop, the Georgetown University Library, â +1 202 687-7452, surprisingly, is open to the public, and has numerous public terminals on the first and third floors. All you need is a photo ID.

Great baked goods and coffee and free WiFi. The lines are short since it's off the main drag and the beloved oversized cupcakes alone are reason to stop by worth that hefty $3.50 price tag.
